A period of time where we are reminded of our place in Creation and our responsibility to play our part in caring for the planet and all living things.

BEACH CLEAN – SUNDAY 20th SEPTEMBER
Booterstown Beach, meeting at Booterstown Dart Station at 2pm on Sunday 20th September. Find as much waste as possible. Just turn up, wear wellies! Gloves, sacks etc will be provided courtesy of Flossie and the Beach Cleaners. All welcome!

Bulb Planting
To celebrate Season of Creation there will be bulb planting after all Masses 19 th /20 th September, outside the parish centre. All welcome to stop by!

Blessing of school bags – 11am Sunday 20 th September
We welcome all children who are starting school or preschool to receive a special blessing during this Mass. This is a lovely tradition known as the Blessing of Schoolbags.
Children are invited to bring their schoolbag to Mass to have it blessed. And don’t worry if you forget your schoolbag, you can still receive the blessing!

Crosscare Appeal 2026
Thousands of people turn to Crosscare for support. The Crosscare Annual Collection for 2026 in the Archdiocese of Dublin is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026, replacing the ordinary Share collection at all

Masses that weekend.
The appeal raises vital funds for Crosscare, the social support agency of the Archdiocese of Dublin, to maintain and deliver critical community services, including homeless prevention and residential services, youth programmes, food banks, community cafes, and aftercare support for young adults leaving state care. Contributions can be made during the special collection at all masses next weekend or directly at any time via the Crosscare Donation Page on www.crosscare.ie
