“I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE; WHOEVER COMES TO ME SHALL NOT HUNGER; AND WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NEVER THIRST.” JOHN 6; 35.

THE HOLY FATHER’S INTENTION FOR OCTOBER 2026: FOR MENTAL HEALTH MINISTRY.

“Let us pray that the Mental Health Ministry be established throughout the church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illness.”

FOR AN END TO DISCRIMINATION.
“For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’” Galatians 5; 14.

FOR PEACE IN THE WORLD AND FOR THOSE SUFFERING FROM WAR.
Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” Matthew 5; 9.

FOR CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM WAR AND POVERTY.
Jesus said, “So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.” Matthew 18; 14.

FOR A FRESH OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ON THE CHURCH.
Jesus said, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1; 8.

FOR GREATER LOVE FOR, AND DEVOTION TO, PRAYING OFTEN THE HOLY ROSARY,
opening our hearts to the graces of Christ’s redemption, that we may have peace in our homes, strength in our difficulties, and unity in our community.

PSALM 46; 10: “BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.”
