Arranging a Funeral
Please make contact with the undertakers who will then contact the parish on your behalf to assist you with the arrangements for the Funeral. The undertakers will give you a Funeral booklet which has suggested Scripture Readings, Responsorial Psalms, and Prayer of the Faithful.
When the date and time of the Funeral Mass has been agreed, the Celebrant will arrange to meet members of the bereaved family to assist and guide them with planning the Liturgy and the Music. A member of the parish Funeral Team will be present on the day of the Funeral Mass to support the bereaved family. Following the Funeral Mass, the Funeral Team member will attend at the graveside or at the crematorium to lead the prayers.
